Delhi: DONE
After 3 days, it's about time we moved on from the place we now call ''home'.
28.11.2007 - 30.11.2007
23 °C
We've absolutely dominated delhi. After bunkering down in 'Pargahange', which is essentially the tourist ghetto (filth everywhere - a hawker every 2 mentres and a beggar at every metre in between)! Have been living hard core street lifestyle and eating mainly at places that mum and dad would NOT approve of the hygiene standard of!

Bahai Temple, Delhi - its in the shape of a Lotus Flower. Less than 10 years old. Pretty mean.
Explored some magnificent forts and tombs - the most surprising part of which were the expansive and intricate landscaped grounds. we drank chai like kings at Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's (of Taj Mahal fame) Red Fort too.

Intricate marble carvings, 1000s of years old, in Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's Red Ford Complex, Delhi

Each day brings so much more chaos and adventure, hopefully between us we'll be able to recall it all.
Plans for today are:
-Hunt out some street-side chai
-Book tickets to Agra and on to Varannasi (East), hopfully on a train tonight)
-Check out the Bahai' temple in Old Delhi
-Check out the ruins on ''Delhi's fourth city"'
Sweet, will try post some photos soon!
